As a sub-forum under the Forum of China and Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (China-CELAC Forum), the first China-Latin America Scientific and Technological Innovation Forum will be held in Quito, capital city of Ecuador, on September 16th and 17th, 2015. Ministers for Science and Technology of China and CELAC member states will jointly attend a roundtable to exchange views on establishing and improving the “ecological system for innovation”. Representatives from government departments, research institutes, universities and businesses of China and Latin American countries will carry out discussions on issues such as national policies on technology and innovation, technology transfer, bio-diversity and development, science and technology propelling green development, and scientific and technological innovation promoting business success. The exhibition on the achievements of scientific and technological innovation of China will also be held concurrently in Ecuador.
