BEIJING, July 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 jolted 30 km WNW of Tocopilla, Chile at 0415 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 44.45 km, was initially determined to be at 21.9814 degrees south latitude and 70.4681 degrees west longitude.
