Recently, President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors based on the decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress:

I. Wu Jie was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Cote d’Ivoire, replacing Wan Li.

II. Chen Luning was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Dominican Republic, replacing Zhang Run.

III. Lan Hu was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, replacing Li Baorong.
