President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

I. Bai Tian was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Malaysia, replacing Huang Huikang.

Ⅱ. Xiao Qian was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Indonesia, replacing Xie Feng.

Ⅲ. Yao Jing was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, replacing Sun Weidong.

Ⅳ. Tan Jian was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, replacing La Yifan.

Ⅴ. Li Baorong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, replacing Zhao Bentang.
