On August 26, as the new academic year approaches, H.E. Ambassador Ren Hongyan met with representatives of Trinidad and Tobago students who will soon travel to China to pursue their studies. He warmly saw them off and offered his encouragement.

Ambassador Ren congratulated the students on receiving scholarships to further their studies in China. He encouraged them to make progress in their studies and enjoy their lives in China, while actively engaging with local society, gaining a deeper understanding of China and its development achievements, making new friends and broadening their horizons. He expressed the hope that they would contribute their youthful energy to enhancing mutual understanding between the peoples of China and Trinidad and Tobago and promoting practical cooperation between the two countries.

The students thanked Ambassador Ren for his care and encouragement. They said they were looking forward to beginning their journey of study in China and would cherish the opportunity, study hard and strive to become young ambassadors of friendship between China and Trinidad and Tobago.
