On 4 December 2025, Her Excellency Yan Jiarong, Chinese Ambassador to The Bahamas, met with Mr Audrius Barzdukas, the newly appointed head of the Lyford Cay International School (LCIS), and his colleagues and friends. They exchanged in-depth views on promoting Chinese language teaching in The Bahamas and facilitating cultural exchanges.

LCIS is a renowned private school in The Bahamas with many international students. For many years, it has offered Chinese-language courses.
