BEIJING, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Near Coast of Northern Chile at 13:13:30 GMT on Sunday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 21.48 degrees south latitude and 70.58 degrees west longitude.
