SANTIAGO, March 10 (Xinhua) -- Chilean financial market analysts projected that the country's economy will grow 2 percent in 2022, the Central Bank of Chile said Thursday.

According to the bank's Economic Expectations Survey for March, experts also estimated economic growth of 1.5 percent in 2023.

The Consumer Price Index will have a variation of 0.8 percent this month to close the year at 5.8 percent, economists said.

Regarding the monetary policy rate, analysts projected that it will end the year at 7.5 percent, up from the previous estimate of 6.75 percent.

The central bank's monthly survey is sent to a group of financial institution advisors, as well as academics and consultants.
