Li Yuanchao Collectively Meets CELAC Delegates Attending the First Meeting of China-CELAC Political Parties' Forum

  Beijing,10 December (Xinhua) (reported by Bai Jie)-- Li Yuanchao, Vice President of China, met with the foreign delegates attending the 1st meeting of the Political Parties' Forum China-CELAC collectively on 9 December in Beijing.

  Vice President Li said that China-CELAC relations have seen rapid and comprehensive development in recent years. He hoped that the two sides would implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two sides to deepen strategic mutual trust, strengthen pragmatic cooperation, expand exchanges and enhance mutual learning. The Communist Party of China is more than ready to step up efforts in enhancing friendly exchanges, sharing governance experiences with CELAC countries and making concerted efforts to continuously push forward the development of China-CELAC comprehensive cooperation partnership on the basis of equality, mutual benefit and common development.

  The foreign delegates responded by saying that the CELAC countries would like to learn from the Communist Party of China's state governance experiences and enhance party-to-party exchanges and convert the meeting's results into concrete actions.
